Short Bio of Omar Lengerke
Born July 15, 1975, Socorro-Santander (Colombia)
I am a full professor in the Mechatronic Engineering Faculty at UNAB, Colombia.

 

In 2006 i was awarded with a scholarship to do a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering COPPE/UFRJ/Brazil. My major professor was Dr. Max Suell Dutra. Our research area is Intelligent Vehicles. I have more than 30 works published in national and international congresses and journals in the last 4 years.

 

As a professor in Colombian and Brazilian universities, i have taught different courses mainly in industrial automation and mechatronics systems.

As a Ph.D. in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, i have also attended several teaching training workshops in the Robotics Laboratory.
